No. The use of still cameras, video camera and other recording devices are strictly prohibited in the polls. This rule also applies to still cameras and other recording features built into many cellphones.
The ban applies to all voters, poll watchers, election workers, and watchers. Exceptions are made for credentialed members of the news media. However, the media’s use of cameras and audio recording equipment has certain restrictions and we have off-limits areas where journalists should not cross into without permission from a Commission official. Failure to obey these rules may result in sanctions.
