DISTRICT LEVEL ELECTIONS ORGANIZED IN NKORANZA NORTH AND SOUTH

The Electoral Commission on Friday, 16th April, 2020 held elections to select District Level Leaders at 242 polling stations in the Nkoranza North and South Districts in the Bono East Region.
Some 92,000 registered voters in the two districts were expected to vote in the District Level Elections.
In 2015 the Electorates unhappy with some developments in the district hindered the conduct of the Assembly Elections.
As a result the elections took place much later in 2017. The term of Members of that Assembly expires in April 2021 hence the need to conduct fresh elections to usher in new members.
