No. The use of still cameras, video camera and other recording devices are strictly prohibited in the polls. This rule also applies to still cameras and other recording features built into many cellphones.

The ban applies to all voters, poll watchers, election workers, and watchers. Exceptions are made for credentialed members of the news media. However, the media’s use of cameras and audio recording equipment has certain restrictions and we have off-limits areas where journalists should not cross into without permission from a Commission official. We discourage the practice of bringing election-related materials at the polls. This includes clothing and buttons bearing election-related images as well as fliers, pamphlets, and stickers. If you display such items in the polling place or within 100 feet of an entrance to a polling place, Commission personnel may ask you to cover or remove it.

Any person who loses his or her voter I.D. card will within 7 days of realizing the loss report the loss in person to the district officer of the Commission or to a police officer in charge of the nearest police station who will report the loss to the district officer of the Commission within 7 days of the receipt of the report.

Whether a registered voter can vote outside his or her assigned polling station depends on certain factors. If you have moved within the same area since you last registered, you may still be able to vote on Election Day.
